State Central Committee Members

The Illinois Republican Party is governed by the State Central Committee. The State Central Committee is comprised of nineteen members each representing a congressional district. State Central Committee members have one deputy. Election of State Central Committeemen outside of Cook is by Precinct Committeemen, not County Chairmen or Township Chairmen.The County Chairmen responsible for electing the State Central Committee members have a weighted vote depending on what the republican primary turnout was for the last applicable election cycle. They serve a four- year term.
